Information on your device

The app stores your progress, Known and Learning lists, practice history, transcription preferences, and the text of practice attempts locally on your device. The developer does not receive this information. Backups managed by you and your operating system may include local app data.

Microphone and speech recognition

Transcription is optional. If you enable it and grant permission, the app uses the microphone during repeat pauses while the app is active. It requires Apple's on-device German speech recognition and does not fall back to server-based recognition.

The app processes microphone audio for transcription. It does not save that audio as recordings or upload it. The resulting text may be saved locally in Practice History. If on-device recognition is unavailable, you can still listen and repeat without transcription.

No accounts, tracking, or advertising

The app does not require an account and contains no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics. Lesson recordings are bundled with the app; listening does not send requests to an AI voice service.

External services

Help links to recording sources and license information. Opening those links takes you to external services governed by their own privacy policies. App Store interactions and operating-system services are governed by Apple's applicable policies.

Your choices

You can disable transcription in the app or revoke microphone and speech access in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes its local app data. Offloading the app instead retains documents and data. Manage device backups separately through the relevant Apple settings. The app currently has no separate clear-history control.

Support correspondence

If you email support, your email address and the information you choose to send are received through the support mailbox. They are used to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information. To ask about or request deletion of support correspondence, contact the address below. Email is processed by the email service provider under its own terms and policies.

This website

This support website uses no analytics scripts, advertising, or tracking cookies. Its hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to operate and secure the hosting service. This is separate from the app's on-device practice data.
