What the app does not do

• It does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
• It does not connect to the internet or send anything anywhere.
• It contains no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
• It does not track you and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
• It does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, health data, or send notifications.

What is stored on your device

The app saves which words you have sorted into Known and which remain in Learning, and whether you chose German or English as the base language. This is written to the app's own local storage on your device. It never leaves your device, is not readable by us or anyone else, and is removed when you delete the app.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Third parties

No data is shared with third parties, because no data is collected. The word list and definitions are bundled inside the app when you download it; the app does not fetch anything at runtime.

The About page in the app shows links to the sources and to this website. Tapping one opens it in your web browser, outside the app; those websites have their own privacy policies.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
