PenDraw is a party drawing-and-guessing game you play together on one big screen.
One player secretly gets a word and draws it — by tilting their phone in the air or sketching with a finger — while everyone else races to guess. No accounts, no ads, just fun. Below are the basics and answers to common questions. Still stuck? Get in touch and we'll help.
No. There's no sign-up or login — you just choose a nickname when you join a game.
Yes, completely free to play, with no ads.
As the drawer, switch to Tilt mode and move your phone in the air to steer the pen. Use Recenter to reset the pen to the starting position, and Clear to wipe the canvas. Prefer touch? Switch to Finger mode and draw directly on the screen.
Some phones ask for permission to use motion sensors. On iPhone, tap Enable Tilt and allow motion access when prompted. Motion drawing needs a phone with orientation sensors — on a laptop, use finger/mouse drawing instead.
Make sure the code matches the big screen exactly and that the host's screen is still open — codes are specific to each live game. If the game ended, ask the host to start a new one and share the fresh code.
PenDraw plays over the internet, so every player and the big screen need a stable connection. If things stall, check your Wi-Fi/data and refresh the page or app.
You need at least 2 players, and it's best with a group — the more friends guessing, the more fun.
There's nothing to delete — PenDraw doesn't create accounts, and game data (nicknames, drawings, guesses) is temporary and removed automatically when the game ends. See our Privacy Policy for details.
