No data collected

Shakespeare Flashcards does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The app has no networking code at all.

What the app does not do

It does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
It does not connect to the internet. The app contains no networking code.
It contains no analytics, advertising or third-party SDKs.
It does not track you and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
It does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, health data, or send notifications.

What is stored on your device

The app saves which words you have sorted into Known and which remain in Learning. This is written to the app's own local storage on your device using the standard iOS preferences system. It never leaves your device, is not readable by us or anyone else, and is removed when you delete the app.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. Profanity was filtered out of the bundled word list.

Third parties

No data is shared with third parties, because no data is collected. The word list and definitions are bundled inside the app when you download it; the app does not fetch anything at runtime.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
